Ganglion Cyst

Ganglion cysts arise from the lining of joints and tendon sheaths. The most common locations are the back and front of the wrists, as well as, the end knuckles of the fingers. They are benign and usually harmless. Surgical removal is often required when they result in pain, discomfort, or nerve compression.
