Cosmetic Surgery

As the face ages, the facial fat of the upper face moves downward giving rise to deep creases between the nose and mouth, jowls along the jaw line, and looseness of the neck muscle and skin. All of these changes result in facial aging. A rhytidectomy or facelift procedure helps to "turn the clock back" by correcting these tell-tale signs.

This procedure is performed using concealed incisions placed around the ear and under the chin. The facial fat is removed or repositioned, the neck muscle is tightened, and the skin of the face and neck is re-draped. Ideal candidates should have good general health and be non-smokers.
